Richey Capacitor Incorporated in Nashville, Tennessee discontinued its operation in 2020. Richey Capacitors Incorporated engaged in marketing and sales or aluminum electrolytic and film capacitors in the US since 1965 when the company was founded by R, Royce Richey. Mr. Richey was influential in the design and development of subminiature electrolytic capacitors for the US market. The Company transitioned its manufacturing operations to Taiwan and China and the Richey Capacitors Ltd. manufacturing facilities continue to produce the same aluminum electrolytic capacitors that were offered by Richey Capacitor Incorporated in the US.

Micro Technology Group is the last remaining franchised distributor for Richey Capacitor Incorporated in the US.  After its closure in 2020, we engaged through an independent trading company to continue offering aluminum electrolytic capacitors manufactured by the same factories that have supplied Richey Capacitor Incorporated since the 1960s.  We welcome the opportunity to continue supporting your aluminum electrolytic capacitor requirements in the same tradition that Richey offered in its 54 years of business!
